Overview
Greenwich, Connecticut's West Lyon Farm is a posh active lifestyle community about an hour from New Haven and Manhattan. Amenities & Lifestyle
Two barn-style rental spaces are available to West Lyon Farm residents for private parties and community get-togethers. An indoor sauna is available to homeowners as well.
There are two heated swimming pools, patios, and gas grills for tenants to use outside. There is also a 6-hole artificial turf putting green, two tennis and pickleball courts, and a playground in the community. Seven ponds, mature trees, stone walls, rock outcroppings, and a covered bridge are all part of the beautiful grounds.
Homes & Real Estate
In 1975, development on the 155 single-family and connected residences that would eventually make up West Lyon Farm began. Homes in this area range in size from 1,700 to 4,300 square feet, with two to five bedrooms and 2.5 to four bathrooms. There are two-car detached garages in both the single-family homes and the townhomes.
Many of the houses offer first-floor master bedrooms with walk-in closets, spa-like baths, and separate sitting areas for the residents to relax in privacy. Formal dining rooms, large living rooms with gas fireplaces, and guest suites on the second floor are all standard features.
Family spaces, gyms, and offices can all be found in homes with completed basements. Optional features include patios that wrap around the house, extra rooms, skylights, and views of the pond below.
Area
There are numerous alternatives for physically active people in the area. Golf courses like Greenwich Country Club, The Milbrook Club, Griffith E. Harris Golf Course, Round Hill Golf Club, Burning Tree Country Club, and Sterling Farms Golf Course can be found in the area. Greenwich Boat & Yacht Club and Palmer Point Marina both welcome boaters.
Residents can drive to New Haven or New York City in about an hour if they want to explore nearby cities. Westchester County Airport or LaGuardia Airport are good options for longer trips.
